Call for Papers: Conference on Economic Development in Africa CSAE 2018

The Centre for the Study of African Economies (CSAE) is an economic research centre within the Department of Economics at Oxford University. CSAE carries out economic research with a particular focus on Africa. Its aim is to improve economic and social conditions in the poorest societies.

Call for papers.

This conference will be held on 18th to 20th March 2018, at St Catherine’s College.

Papers addressing economic analysis of the broad issues relevant for economic development in Africa are invited for the CSAE 2018 conference. Papers on countries other than those in Africa are welcome, providing they deal with issues central to African development.

Submitting a paper

All papers must be FULL DRAFTS, and must include a short abstract. The title, abstract and presentation must be in English.

Travel funding available 

There is a limited budget to fund African presenters who are currently living and working in Africa and who will be travelling from Africa to the conference.
